Designer Spotlight: Lucy Penfield

Coming to us from INTERSOURCE, Inc., her local IDG showroom, is Lucy Penfield of Lucy Interior Design. Known for her energy and enthusiasm, Lucy achieves dazzling results thanks in part to her team’s mix of boundless creativity, attention to detail and pizazz.

With a background in visual merchandising, interior design and fashion, Lucy’s experience gives her the ability to design beautiful rooms full of elegant glamour and delightful charm, in which has helped her to win “Best of HOUZZ” in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Lucy’s M.O is to layer spaces with color and attitude in order to bring out each client’s personality and to give them a one-of-a-kind living space that looks and feels fabulous.

From a farmhouse to an art studio, and from a colonial to a loft, Lucy has done it all and has mastered the art of telling a story with her design work and making her clients feel at home.

Designer Spotlight: Susan Prestia

Susan Prestia is the owner of Interior Directions, an interior design firm based out of Kansas City, Kansas.

Susan prefers to ease clients in new creative directions, as she makes it her mission to create a space that will make her clients feel comfortable outside of their comfort zone. She draws inspiration from all design. Traditional,Historic Preservation, Modern, Rustic Contemporary & City Sophisticated are just a few. She partners with clients to experience new styles and to grow their desire for new design concepts.

Susan uses her extensive experience to be “Purposely Creative,” thanks in part to her attention to detail & making sure to feature her client's personality in all of her design work. She goes above and beyond to deliver dramatic room designs, so it’s no wonder that Susan won Kansas City’s Creative Interior Designer Services Best of House 2017 award.

One of Susan’s favorite things is to work with various causes, such as the Kansas City Symphony Designers Showhouse, Re Start KC, The Rotary Youth
Camp, Shoes for Orphans soles, Literacy KC, DIFFA & more, in order to help children, education, arts, and the environment.

Designer Spotlight: Elissa Grayer

Coming to us from Floors Beautiful, her local IDG showroom, is Elissa Grayer, owner of Elissa Grayer Interior Design, a high-end, full-service design firm located in Rye, NY.

Designer Spotlight: Alessia Zanchi Loffredo

Coming to us from Northern Flooring and Interiors, her local IDG Showroom, is Alessia Zanchi Loffredo, one half of ReDesign Home, a collaborative interior design studio. Alessia, who is based out of the Chicago office, is joined by fellow founder, Sarah Coscarelli, who runs the metropolitan Detroit office.

ReDesign Home was started over 10 years ago when Alessia and Sarah were working together at a commercial/retail design firm and realized they shared the same goals and passion for owning their own studio.
