A statement ceiling is just that. It’s a statement of luxury, personality, and character, allowing you to go bold in an often overlooked space. This is one trend that we don’t recommend winging, so follow along for our top tips.
The easiest and least risky way to go about creating a statement ceiling is to paint it. You will want to make sure that the color you choose fits into the room’s overall color scheme.
If your ceiling has beautiful architecture to it, such as exposed wooden beams, coffered details, or even arches, show them off!
A bolder, riskier move is to bring wallpaper to your ceiling. Whether you choose geometrics or florals, a wallpapered ceiling is sure to provide a wow factor. We love seeing this in an otherwise neutral room because it really focuses all of the attention to the ceiling.
