Desi Creswell, owner of Desi Interior Design, based out of Minneapolis, MN, comes to us from her local IDG showroom, Intersource, Inc.

Desi got her start designing multi-million dollar commercial projects, before starting her business and diving into designing the homes of executives and professionals.

Our Favorite Ways To Design With Marble

Due to its durability, natural beauty, and ease of maintenance, marble has long been a favored material to design with. In fact, designing with marble dates back to the early Egyptian era, making this a look that has been hot for quite some time.

Marble: In The Kitchen & Bathroom

While marble is now being found more in accent pieces, it's important not to forget that its biggest presence is still in the kitchen: on countertops and as backsplashes. Not only does marble add a rich and beautiful look to your space, but due to its glossy surface, it also makes clean-up a breeze!

Another popular room to use marble in is the bathroom, where it's being used both in countertops, and also on the walls. Hint: elegant marble shower. In an all-white bathroom, a marble countertop will make your space feel luxurious, fresh, and fashionable!
