In interior design, an incredible amount of emphasis is placed upon decorating to the trends in the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom, and finally, the bathroom is seeing an increase in the makeover department.
Long seen as a room used only for specific needs, a recent trend in bathroom design is to remodel the room in such a way that it makes it a room that you stay in. This can range from adding a cushioned chair to sit in while applying make-up, showers with a sitting area, and all-around décor that makes you not in a rush to leave.
When it comes to the new look and feel of bathrooms, a pattern seen across all styles is to design the room in such a way that it gives off a sense of tranquility, and for the space to allow you to relax and feel rejuvinated. White does just that when used in bathroom décor, as it adds a clean, crisp feel to the room. It's no surprise that it's a top color choice for this room, as it can work in a modern, traditional, or contemporary space.

Natural elements are also popular in bathroom design, with both the use of natural elements such as wood and stone, and also colors of nature, like a bright blue or a cool green.
