Bold colors and bold furniture are making a comeback, and with summer being an exciting, warm, and welcoming season, now is the perfect time to make an excitingly bold change to your home décor.
Bold Colors or Bold Furniture
You can go bold with your design this year by either bringing a bold color to your walls and décor, or you can add a piece of art or furniture that is bold in shape and/or design.
Bold Doesn't Need to be Overwhelming
You don't need to overwhelm your room with bold colors in order to make a statement. Instead, bring bold pieces or colors to your room in small details, such as with throw pillows or blankets. For a larger dose of boldness, bring a bright pattern or color to your walls for an instant punch of energy.

When choosing which bold color to add to your room, first take into consideration whether or not your room is bright with an abundant amount of natural light, or if it's on the darker spectrum. If your room is naturally darker, choose a bright color, which will open up the room and make it welcoming. For a room with ample lighting and windows, consider bringing a darker, more bold color to your space, such as a deep purple or black.
