Adding Warmth with White

White walls, white furniture, white flooring. Scared yet? Don’t be.  White can be cozy, pretty, dramatic, warm, and airy, but it is far from precious.

White is never boring, and is a very dramatic and bold color to add in your room. If you let the borders and patterns on the tiles bring a simplistic and strong essence to your kitchen, decorating won’t be necessary. 

Decorating your white kitchen might actually be appealing to you. Choose a color, like aqua, as seen in the kitchen below, to make the room pop. Bring the color of your choice into your kitchen or room with the use of tableware, mugs, towels, flowers or canisters.  Spend the afternoon browsing at local stores for trinkets and items in your selected color, and before you know it, your room will come together.

White walls create a blank canvas for anything. White can be cozy and bring warmth into your room, so long as you avoid hard, modern pieces. One way to add clean lines to your living room is to include a majority of furniture or materials with the same line pattern.
