Let me just say, it's great telling designers they've won thousands of dollars just for doing what they love! It's one of the reasons why every year Dabbieri co-sponsors the Designer Showcase Awards, a competition that pays tribute to the talents of interior designers.
This year's submissions were particularly stunning. So without further hesitation (drum roll please), this year's award winners are...
Grand Prize Award of $5,000: Sherry Hayslip with floor coverings from Clifton Carpets in Dallas, Texas
Dabbieri Award of Distinction of $3,000: Andrea Schumacher with floor coverings from Floorcoverings by CPA in Denver, Colorado
First Runner-Up Award of $2,500: Sara Berninger with floor coverings from The Rug Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio
Congratulations to our winners! Stay tuned for 2008 Designer Showcase Awards!

Lucky winners! Their interiors look quite traditional to me. But then again, I am in Marrakech, where decor is a bit more exotic.

I especially like the grand prize winning design. The yellow commands your attention next to the subdued blue. Very nice.
